Refund policy

www.openboxwala.com offers this website, including all information, tools, and services available from this site to you, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies, and notices stated here. The following policy is deemed to be accepted by all customers once they place an order. The company policy applies to all purchases made/orders placed.

RETURNS


  1. We have a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return.
  2. Product can only be returned in case of Damage or defective product only.
  3. Unboxing is mandatory to file such claims
  4. In some cases, we may need service letter from Authourized service centers to prove the product defect.
  5. For valid returns, refunds will be processed within 7 business days from the date of approval of return.
  6. To start a return, you can contact us at openboxwala@gmail.com or the contact number mentioned on the website. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label or ask you to send the product back to us.
  7. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. All returned products will be inspected for quality, functionality, and defects before any decision is made regarding the return/refund/exchange.
  8. Returns are only possible if the product is incorrect or defective. We will ask for a video recording showing the unboxing of our package clearly.
  9. Please note that for open box items, minor scratches or cosmetic imperfections are acceptable and do not warrant a return or refund, as these are inherent to the nature of open box products.
  10. Color Requests: Due to demand and supply constraints, we cannot guarantee a specific color for products. Products may be supplied in any available color, and color preference or dissatisfaction will not be considered a valid reason for refund or return.

ELIGIBILITY

  1. To be eligible for a return/refund/exchange, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
  2. We request you to record the process of opening the original box sent by us. If recording is not provided, the team will refuse the return/refund.

CASES WHERE COST IS TO BE BORNE BY THE CUSTOMER

  1. In-transit losses or damages are not entertained by us. We will fully assist in coordinating with the courier partner for reimbursement or other resolutions.
  2. In case of return, the courier cost will be borne by the customer. Either the customer may send the package directly to us or request our team to initiate a return pick-up, which will be chargeable as per city-to-city rates.
  3. The return shipping cost will be reimbursed on a valid return.
  4. Transaction charges and other fixed costs will also be borne by the customer in case of cancellation. This charge will be deducted while initiating the refund.
  5. If a customer ordered Product A and later wanted Product B instead, the customer may place a new order for Product B as per their requirement. Cancellation charges will be applicable on Product A.

DAMAGES AND ISSUES

  1. Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Delay in raising the issue could affect the refund/return/exchange process.
  2. A video clearly showing the unboxing of the product is a must for any claims for returns or refunds.

NO RETURN/REFUND IN THE FOLLOWING CIRCUMSTANCES

  1. If the product is working 100% fine and is as per the description, having no issues with the working, usage, and functionality, no returns or refund requests will be entertained.
  2. Therefore, electronic products that are working totally fine will not be accepted back by the Company.
  3. In the case of “unboxed”/“open box” products, having certain conditions, please refer to our detailed policy on the website under the “What is Open Box” section.
  4. Color preference or dissatisfaction is not a reason for return or refund due to demand and supply constraints across categories.

TRANSACTION CHARGES

  1. Charges that a business incurs every time it processes a customer’s payment. The cost of the transaction fee will vary depending on the service used.
  2. Therefore, in case of order cancellation, transaction and shipping charges will be deducted, and the remaining amount will be refunded.
