I ordered the Ant Esports GP300 V2 Wireless Controller from OpenBoxWala.com on 16th October for just โน950 using a coupon code. The same controller was selling for around โน1,200 on platforms like GameLoot, Flipkart, and Amazon.
The only catch was that it was an open-box product. When I received it on 20th October, the packaging looked quite old and messy, but the controller itself appeared to be brand new and also came with a brand warranty.
I recorded the entire unboxing process as proof. Unfortunately, after charging the controller 2โ3 times, I noticed that the battery wasn't holding any charge, so the wireless functionality wasn't working. However, it worked perfectly fine when connected through a cable.
Since I had specifically paid extra for a wireless controller, I contacted their customer support through WhatsApp and shared all the details along with the unboxing video.
To my surprise, they arranged a return pickup and processed a replacement without much hassle. My replacement controller was shipped on Monday, 26th October, and I received it on Thursday, 29th October.
Now coming to the replacement: Everything works perfectly! The wireless connectivity, battery, cables, and OTG connector โ everything was included and working properly. The packaging was still a little messy, which is understandable for an open-box product, but the controller itself was in excellent condition.
Overall, I am genuinely very happy with my experience. What impressed me the most was their after-sales support. Even when the first product had an issue, they took responsibility and provided a replacement.
I saved around โน250 compared to other platforms, got a product with brand warranty, and received proper support when something went wrong.
A small suggestion for improvement: Their WhatsApp support could be a little faster. Sometimes replies take 1โ2 hours. I understand they may have a large number of customers to handle, but improving response times would make the experience even better.
They also have a physical warehouse, which adds another level of confidence for customers who may prefer visiting and purchasing directly.
My recommendation: Based on my personal experience, I would definitely recommend OpenBoxWala.com. Just make sure you record an unboxing video when ordering open-box products. It can be very helpful if you face any issues.
Would I buy from them again? Absolutely YES!
